祝　リチャード・トンプソンの来日　２

　前回、リチャード・トンプソンについて書いた割には貼った動画がボニー・レイットとのデュオでリチャード・トンプソンの唄もギターもほとんど出てこなかったので別の曲を改めて取り上げます。

彼がフェアポート・コンベンションを脱退して初のソロアルバム『Henry the Human fly』、から①　『Roll Over Vaughan Williams』　と　②　『The Angels Took My Racehorse Away』　、③　『The old changing way』

①は間奏のジグ風のギター・ソロが印象的です。

②はイントロに流れる　ジョン・カークパトリック　のアコーディオンが新鮮です。この当時ロックでアコーディオンが使われることはThe Bandを除いてほとんどありませんでした。（まあ、今もありませんが！）サンディ・デニーとともに後に結婚するリンダ・ピーターズもコーラスで参加しています。

③はトラッド風のメロディが美しい曲です。
